You may be a trainee who wants to learn about the sub-specialist field of limb reconstruction, or an established consultant or AHP who wants to keep up to date with new and recent techniques. This meeting aims to present developments in a forum where this will be accessible and relevant.

If you have performed some research in the field of Limb Reconstruction, the BLRS is the ideal forum to present your data, so that it can be properly disseminated and critiqued. If your project has been previously presented at ASAMI, you can still submit this for the BLRS meeting. You can submit your abstract by clicking on the Registration Tab in the Drop Down Menu

If you want to expand your network in the Limb Reconstruction world, the BLRS will give you the opportunity to meet other surgeons, trainees and AHPs. This is important for second opinions, spreading best practice and making new acquaintances.

As well as getting informal second opinions, it will be possible to submit cases for expert opinion and to demonstrate learning points from difficult cases.

On top of the usual conference content, there will be specific instructional content aimed at trainees. This year, we will deliver a course on the use of monolateral fixation for damage control, and the initial management of open fractures.

All this and more……
